Finestrat – property next to Benidorm, between the sea and the mountains

Finestrat is a municipality on the Costa Blanca North that borders Benidorm directly. Its newer part, Sierra Cortina and Balcón de Finestrat, sits on the hills just above the city and is regarded as one of the most prestigious areas around Benidorm. This is where most new developments are being built: modern apartments and villas with views of the sea and the Benidorm skyline.

Areas of Finestrat

Sierra Cortina – the most sought-after part of Finestrat: a green, well-kept residential area on the hills, with gardens, pools and its own golf course, and the larger Villaitana courses close by. Quiet, yet only a few minutes from central Benidorm and the beaches.

Balcón de Finestrat – a modern neighbourhood right next door, with apartments and villas overlooking the sea and the Benidorm skyline. It has its own 9-hole course, Puig Campana Golf, and a large number of new developments.

Cala de Finestrat – a small, sheltered cove with a beach and promenade on the border with Benidorm.

Finestrat old town – colourful houses perched on the rock, narrow streets and views of the coast, at the foot of the Puig Campana mountain.

This combination is Finestrat’s greatest strength. Day to day, you have Benidorm on your doorstep, lively all year round: beaches, promenades, restaurants, shops, hospitals and events. And when you want peace and a genuine Spanish atmosphere, Finestrat old town is just a short drive away, and the historic old town of Altea, with its white houses and blue-domed church, is around 20 minutes away.
