Benidorm – a dynamic city by the Mediterranean Sea
Benidorm is the largest and most recognizable resort on the Costa Blanca North, located approximately 45 km north of Alicante Airport. The city combines wide sandy beaches with modern urban infrastructure, high-rise residential buildings and year-round entertainment. For this reason, it is popular both as a holiday destination and as a place for permanent residence or rental investment.
The city’s greatest advantage is its wide and well-maintained beaches with gentle access to the sea:
Playa de Levante – the most central and lively area, along a promenade full of restaurants and cafés

In the centre you will find the Balcón del Mediterráneo viewpoint and the old town with tapas streets and restaurants. A few minutes from the beach begins the Serra Gelada Natural Park with walking routes and coastal views. About 3 km away are the water parks Aqualandia and Mundomar, and about 5 km away the Terra Mítica theme park and the Villaitana golf course. Villajoyosa is approximately 12 km away, Altea about 10 km and Calpe about 25 km. Alicante Airport can be reached in around 35–40 minutes.
Benidorm features a different style of development than most of the Costa Blanca — modern sea-view apartment buildings, residential complexes with pools and security, and holiday apartments in the centre dominate the market.
